After opening my worldroute map i noticed something; My Las Vegas - Tokyo flight doesn't cross the pacific ocean, but goes across asia -> europe -> atlantic !! Why the heck does my flight goes west instead of the shorter east-route?
It seems the script doesn't recognizes a ROUND WORLD. I hope this can be fixed ASAP as there is no use in flying to the states when stationed in Asia at the moment

I just opended one of my first longhaul flights, and I must say that the longhaul are far but lucrative. On a small cityhops i earn a lot more then on a longhaul flight.

Longhaul flights are only profitable if you have a strong hub. Keep expanding with short- and medium-haul routes first.
The route map looks a bit funny, but the actual route calculations are a completely different thing and do recognize that the world is round. Did you really think the developers did not know that the world is round? :eureka:

It indeed looks ugly to have a flight routed over the edge of the world... You guys really believe the earth is round, do you? Haven't laughed that much in years! You might as well believe in Santa Clause.
The round earth -hypothesis is debatable, but Santa is real 'cause I met him last Christmas!

I just watched Pirates of the Caribbean yesterday and they definitly went over the edge of the world. It can't be round! How is that supposed to work. People in Australia would fall right into space then. And as far as I can remember, Maestro is still with us!
