Surprise!!!!!!!

You guys rock for sticking this game out, even though we haven't been the best at keeping it up to date. As a thank you, I've put a nice little surprise into sim2.

Anyone guess what it is?

First one who responds with the correct answer gets an extra million bucks in their sim2 account. (make sure you put your sim2 airline ID in the post)

hey Miller,

Any idea when those other aircrafts will be available for purchase? When using the Market Research tool, I noticed the database is filled a lot of aircrafts which aren't on the aircraft market.

Does this have a reason?

Also, maybe its a nice idea to have a server with 'Airline Empires Classic: The prop-age' : with all the old ladies like the contellation and Dakota's

I think unless its currently being produced, most aircraft that are in database may appear with any Leasing script, which could be incorporated into the game. Thats after the LF script is finally fixed... lol

Miller, can't you just give everyone a 787 to start with instead of B1900Ds.

Nice new addition BUT...

A 767-300ER with 15 more seats burns less fuel than the 787-8? :/

Yup, you're right. The problem is in what the 787's actual thrust will be. I used 75,000 lbs, but the 767-300 is only 55,000 - 60,000. Anyone have a better number for the 787's rated thrust?

I found these figures:

B787-3 53,000 lbf (236 kN)
B787-8 64,000 lbf (285 kN)
B787-9 70,000 lbf (311 kN)

Im sure once the thing starts flying, we will get more accurate details. But these seems to be similar to what i have seen around the net...
