Founding date: 24. April 1962

A brief history: The airline started as MSLT (Magyar Szovjet Légitársaság) by operating a few Caravelles, but replaced them by 1970 with 16 Tu-134B, in 1978 MSLT bought 24 new Tu-154M. The Airline changed it's name and logo in 1990 to MLT Hungarian Airlines (Magyar Légitársaság). slowly the Tu-134B got phased out from 1996 untill 1999 and the Tu-154M got replaced by 18 Airbus A320-200 in 2006, 8 more were added in the following years. After the collaps of MALÉV in 2012, MLT took over its operation even though MLT suffered bankruptcy but thankfully got out of it, sadly MLT had to downsize to 4 Airbus A320-200. In 2018 MLT bought 22 A320-200s which were ex-Wizz air Aircraft, and also inherited 4 B767-300ER's from MALÉV and started operating intercontinental routes. Covid affected the airline too, but it wasnt too serious, many flights were cancelled but no aircraft and employees were lost or let go In May 2022 MLT ordered 12 B787-8s and 8 B787-9s. As of now these are the aircrafts of MLT: 26 A320-200, 4 B767-300ER, 10 B787-8s. Ordered Aricraft: 2 B787-8s, 8 B787-9s, 12 A321neo. In MLT's 63 year old history it had surpirsingly no fatal crashes, only 3 incidents with 1 write-off.

A description of design elements/choices: The triangle simbolizes the motion of moving forward and never stopping yourself, funfact it also has to do something with the border between Hungary, Austria and Slovakia. The green comes from the Hungarian flag and MLT means: Magyar Légitársaság (meaning Hungarian Airlines)

Why you want to join Rise Alliance
I want to be part of this community and I also want to improve myself with your help (as i saw in gallery). As for the airline connectivity is really good and i also want to help other full-service-carriers and get help myself!

What do you bring to Rise Alliance
I am really friendly and give really good feedback, maybe i can change everyones perspective on some projects. if neccesary i can give some tipps for other players. I'm very active in discord and in the game
