Hey! I just launched my first airline and it's semi-profitable - I was just wondering if you have any tips for how to improve it for me.

Early years are critical.

 

so, be careful with cash:

- don't over-order planes

- big outflows happen on the 15th and 28th of the month

 

and, maximise use of fixed costs:

- stick to 2, max 3, types (base maintenance cost)

- fly at least two routes to airports (gate lease costs)

Given that your profile says you don't actually have any airlines, no, I'm not going to offer you any tips.

 

I will offer a tip to the chap above my post however. If you're referring to the monthly payroll bill, that comes out on the 16th, not the 15th. And I don't know what worlds you operate in but all the others end on the 24th of each month. They don't run to the 28th.

Wasn't trying to be a smart-arse. Just had a weird day & felt like i was living in a parrallel universe where nothing made sense. I'd also just been told off by my doctor for my diet & health management. No offence intended to you.
