After seeing issues with the current alliance setup on AE, I have come to the conclusion that there are two main problems:

1. Many alliances do not accept more than one or two applicants from popular countries like the USA.

2. Many alliances do not accept applications from airlines that are not “realistic”.

Therefore, I'm officially expanding Duck Worldwide to operate more frequently in more worlds. Duck Worldwide accepts anyone who applies, full-service, low-cost, hybrid, regional, spamline, everything. Because of this, we are usually the largest alliance in the world we operate in.

Duck Worldwide currently operates in game in R7. When the next world reset comes along it may be expanded to 1-2 more worlds. We are working on maintaining a constant presence in at least one game world.

You know, the reason why most alliances are not accepting US based carriers is that because they already have several and don't want to have dozens and dozens of US carriers squandering their own alliance members right?

I get the reasoning behind it, but it just isn’t fair for players who want to make a US carrier and join an alliance with such limited availability.

Also SkyTeam and Star Alliance had 3 US carriers at points in the 2000s so it’s not even that unrealistic. Of course this alliance is not meant to be realistic.

Plus, in this game having multiple airlines from the same country actually helps with demand by increasing the connecting pax.

Maybe if your doing LLCs or Regional Airlines but a bunch of full-service legacy carriers in an alliance from the same country can be hard as several cities might actually be hubs of the other airlines as well.

This will not go very well, at least not for popular countries like the US.
