Simple as that; I've been taking constant aircraft deliveries and building terminals (when needed) but I can't seem to really compete with other airlines in terms of airline value. Got any tips?

The main ways to gain value is cash, airplanes, and terminal value.

The way I do it is through holding large amounts of cash and not spending it on anything. Since cash doesn't depreciate in this game (lose its value), but aircraft do, it is therefore better to have cash. To do this, I buy most of my planes from the used market for cheap, and stuff them on routes with lots of demand and little gate fees. I also create "Scam IFS" (1 star food at max price, all amenities at max price) for extra profit. This gets me billions of dollars in cash, and very little of it gets spent.

For example, my $300 billion airline has $200 billion of its value in cash.

I prefer to buy planes early on & not really bother about charging on everything. No doubt you loose money that way, but then I make it up by not building hub-spoke but rather point to point which is where I can save substantially on gate lease as that ensures my airport gates normally will be at 50% at the minimum and my domestic gates always remain at 90% plus. Other benefit you get off that is that you can ensure that your planes are fully utilized (my utilization is always above 19.2 hours).

This ensures that you always find monopoly routes/ airports and there you tend to jack up prices to make extra buck till some competitor enters that market.

Your valuation will grow if you fly routes profitably. If you want it to grow faster then maximise profits from current operations, and add more flights.

BTW The valuation of my current airline looks to be value of aircraft + cash, I don't think terminals are included.
