Titles says it all; there are a bunch of airlines going around undercutting everyone's prices... and they're operating on a route between two of my hubs. Is it toxic to have them taste their own medicine or should I feel some gratification from putting 500 A300's on the route lol
Is it considered toxic to "spamline" on routes between your hubs?

That truly makes you the person you claim to hate in doing so. With realistic demand beginning to be implemented, good luck doing this in future.
Undercutting others pricing, however, is just good 'penetration pricing' competition, particularly when new to a route or market overall.
For future, this topic would be better placed here: http://www.airline-e...-and-questions/

Since it’s your hubs, go ahead. I’m not a big fan of spamming routes that other smaller airlines are operating on, but when it’s you own route and you’ve already established yourself as the main airline, it’s not like it’s going to hurt anyone and it certainly is easier.
Also, realistic demand has just increased the possibility to spamline. Smaller routes have more demand now than previously and so spamlining will be easier as there are more passengers to connect.

Undercut the undercutting spamliner, works even better if your reputation is higher. Try not to go to far before your profit becomes literally nothing.

Doesn't work on me. I price my flights at $1 and matching does nothing.
