Locomotion

Let bus begin with a story, it is a story of an airline that provides its passengers with amazing flight services and also a marvelous terminal at the airport. But nothing onwards.

Today Metroline Airways open the new susidiary Metroline Railways. Using former Thameslink Class 319s from First Capital Connect the train operator will provide the high quality service and low prices as the airline. But on a rail basis.

Currently routes are from Stansted, Luton (for Fly Fino) and Gatwick (for High Flyer). The services to London run every 15 mins from Stansted and every 30 mins from Luton and Gatwick. Other services like the Birmingham and Nottingham lines have longer intervals.

The routes will soon be extended from Gatwick to Brighton and Stansted to Manchester, Liverpool and Kings Cross (via Cambridge). Direct services to Manchester Airport and Birmingham Airport are also being looked into to replace air services.

Holy Kaoh!

Today Metroline Airways would like to offically open their new 30 gate terminal building at Kaohsiung Hsiaogang Airport. The ceremony included cheap flights, free on-board services and a limited edition Metroline Boeing 757-200 model by Wooster.

"This new terminal opens our first footmark in Asia. We hope that soon we will have another Asian hub and also another American hub to increase flights over the 2 continents."

We have also welcomed a massive addition of over 30 Bombardier Q400s to all 3 of the airlines hubs.

In other news,

MelitaFLY has increased capacity at Stansted which is bringing in more competition to the airine but a massive advertising campaign is in place all over the South-East UK area to promote Metroline as the better choice from Stansted.

Competition has also more than doubled at Ottowa leaving Metroline as the 2nd best airline after a massive invasion by Limbo Lines. Though many of the airline's routes are intact and operating normally.

Metroline Railways is planning routes to Manchester Picadilly and Liverpool Lime Street from the main terminal at London Euston. The company is looking at Class 43 HST, Class 91 HST and Class 390 Pendolino's.

On another note Metroline Airways would also like to announce the order for even more Boeing 737, 757 and 777 aircraft. The fleet has burst over 100 aircraft and see's no signs of stopping.

Daily Operating Profit is well over $7,000,000 and company value is over $6,000,000,000. Welcome to the world...

Metroline Get The Buses

In a rather bold move by Metroline Airways, they placed orders for 10 Airbus A330-300 aircraft from GoldenSKY Alliance partner Henri's Airways. The order is listed below:

10 x Airbus A330-300 (+10 options)
10 x Boeing 737-900
15 x Bombardier Q400 (+5 options)

These aircraft will be added to the fleet as soon as possible. The 1st Airbus A330 has arrived and is already operating on a new trans-atlantic route.

"These new aircraft will be based all around our hubs along with a new one. The Airbus A330s hopefully will start long haul operations from the new hub along with the new 737s and Q400s but untill then the short-hauls will be stored while the A330s expand into other routes while we wait for more Boeing 777-300s."

It is a proud day for Airbus too as Metroline has also optioned some aircraft from the Airbus A320 family, as of yet full details are currently unknown but are in the pipeline.
