For me it was when I am roleplaying a real life airline and I'm desperately trying to be the launch customer of a type only to be beaten (sometimes by seconds) by another player, this happened recently with the E170 (Crossair was actually the original launch customer irl, they were to take delivery of the second E170 ever built but the order was cancelled when they re-organized into SWISS)

Other times its when i start a airline with the intent on operating a certain type, enter a bad financial period only to end up never being able to purchase the type by the time i recover cause its gone out of production but this happens once in a blue moon and when a airport i want to really fly into has no more gates

What about you guys, what times have you felt salty

KasuKasu Box lmao. Nijigasaki is awesome, do you play SIFAS?

I got super salty when I "caught and released" a competitor from my hub on a single hub server and they stalk and bite back hard after gaining strength at another hub. If I ever play again:

When trying to roleplay there's a lot of salt from me.

Like my current game roleplaying SKOGA, it's next to impossible to start in 1950 with realistic (as in, Soviet) aircraft for them. Or as Aeroflot for that matter. Also even on a realistic world, there are lots of people playing airlines that are definitely NOT role playing anything remotely realistic. So by the time I was able to get up and going (on like my third start attempt), lots of airports already had no gates available.

Picking the wrong engine for your plane and making a mass order. Either you got s*** fuel consumption, your runway takeoff distance is too long for one of your hubs, or both.

When some random airline takes up all of the demand at an airport. I had a 75 percent marketshare at DTW 11pm one night, woke up and it was 22 percent. I was so salty. Also when a competitor prices their flights at like 20 dollars and you have no way of competing without just cancelling all flights on that route.

Sorry to say that this is me. I only operate 1 or 2 airlines at a time though, so I can give them greater focus than those with more airlines.

This is me too. The reason for this is because I often get to a point (usually about halfway through the game) when it becomes impossible to find every last realistic route, so I have to operate unrealistic routes with high numbers of flights and pax. This ends up bumping my market share at the airport.

If the airport is out of gates, why not just build a terminal? They're not even that expensive.

One thing that makes ME very salty is that the 727 ends production on the final day of 1984, but the main worlds I play in start in 1985. This means I am ONE DAY AWAY from being able to get the 727 but can't cause it ended production the day before.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Spamliners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People operating airlines with names like (A, FJEJ, CCFFJFCCCC, D, DGFJIFG, & FFFFFFFFF) and operating 10,000+ planes with scam services/entertainment.

Talking About you "The Emperor"

"atnt71eb"

-Or-

Real Airlines (like Jetblue) being Spamliners and operating 1-star IFS and IFE. and flying thousands of aircraft (in 100% seats economy like A320: 189Y) out of airports like Oklahoma City, Raleigh, Baton Rouge, or Boise.) how do these guys even get profit with 10,000+ seats on a 180 Economy daily demanded route?)  :scratchhead:

Create Scam IFS, make large hubs at both ends of the route, ensure you are in an alliance with large traffic at these hubs, set price to $1.

 There it is! that's good to know but! I like operating nice realistic airlines. with 2-3 IFS, 5 star IFE, and real seat configs. in real life that would be over the top!  :nono:
