I just noticed that all of the measurements are in imperial units, while most of the world uses metric, maybe add a metric system option or switch to metric? I just prefer the metric system.

I agree, having everything in imperial units isn't the best experience for everybody.

The game was(is?) developed in the United States.

The US is probably the only country in the game that would actually use the imperial system.

Most players are probably American, but there are a lot of players from other countries, too.

 

Since converting from one to the other is as simple as multiplying a value, I don't see how it'd be a bad idea to just add the metric system alongside the existing one.
