According to the world airline of 2019 (Already outdated) there is one YS-11 operating commercial services in Africa with a carrier named "Planes for Africa" I would like to know its registration and where in Africa it is operating out of and if someone out there who could possibly confirm if its in the air or shitting waiting to be parted out. The only other operators of the YS-11 is the JASDF who fly modified variants for military roles.

Note: A Sri Lankan carrier bought a YS-11 last year with hopes to use it for tourist flights but those plans went out the window when a terrorist attack happened, that aircraft was put up for auction and I haven't heard of it since then.

If you asking when did "Planes For Africa" get they're YS-11 I have no clue, in regards to the Sri lankan carrier that never ended up flying it, that was last year just before April
