Hey everyone, I'm looking long term on 777-200 and 747D replacements and whitest trying to stay realistic, I'm also trying to look at reasonable replacements in the 787 family and/or A350 family.

I'm looking at realistic seating and IFS and wondering if its best to stick with 787 or A350, as most routes that would be operated would be smaller routes , mainly under 5000NM.

What are your takes or opinions on these aircraft when it comes to effectiveness and cost efficiencies?

Personally, i'd take the A350. It's a bit more expensive, but overall, the engines are more fuel efficient, and the takeoff and landing performance is significantly better. As long as you choose the Trent XWB-75 engines, the fuel efficency of those engines is at least 10% better than of the 787. Of course, the difference costs of $43 million per aircraft might sway you to the 787, the A350 just performs overally better in my opinion and i'm going to have them as replacements for my A330's, 747's and 777's

Depends on your priority.

If it's a higher capacity you require and the ultimate in passenger experience, go for the Airbus A350-900 or -1000

However, if you're more of a point-to-point airline and may not fill the aircraft, hence, not requiring quite as much capacity, go for the 788 or 789.
