After I Buy an aircraft from lease, does my profit on that route increase automatically?

I started buying the aircrafts I leased, but I don't see a big difference in the profit margin, how does that go?

The only thing it really does, is save you from paying a lease on the aircraft, which can make the aircraft more profitable.

It's not gonna be a big difference, only the amount you were spending on the lease.

IMO: lease until you get a nice DOP, (5M+) then slowly start buying out your aircraft. The only main change to your airline is that it gives your airline liquidity so that you can sell assets in an emergency. I would also never buy out used, leased planes. It’s simply more profitable to operate planes above 10-15 years old under lease.

The reason it doesn’t affect the profitability of a route is because in the game, lease payments are not calculated as part of the operating profit for individual routes. They are however part of operating expenses on your income statement and it does impact overall profitability.
