Hi there

 

Why only lately are the servers response times so slow ...?

 

I have an i7 PC 3.4 Ghz CPU , 8 GB Ram

SSD Hard Drive

500 Mbps Fibre line

 

Im pinging the server constantly ... 300ms

 

Yet the web page's response's are between 17 seconds to 45 seconds per page to refresh ? 

This is extremely frustrating ... and time consuming to the point its not worth playing !

Fortunately Gameworld R0 is almost over. My computer is going slow too but only since I installed the latest kaspersky Internet Security on a 10-year old hard drive. I don't think it can really handle it.

 

Unfortunately I might also be contributing to the problem. My airline (the guy at #1) is quite large and the guy who's spent most of the game trying to beat me has an airline of nearly 24,000 aircraft. If it wasn't for him I would have capped my airline at about 5,000 aircraft ages ago. When you have very large airlines and obscene daily flights and daily pax numbers, it tends to slow the servers down. I know one particular player who literally broke a server.

Hope everyone is well during this uncertain times...

 

I presume everyone is more online now than before , therefore the servers are very slow.

Been struggling the last few days ... so slow its not worth playing ..

I've found the servers to be tempremental since the beginning of time, although less so these days because...

 

I know one particular player who literally broke a server.

When I tried the "Empire Method" in S3-A, I ran into the bug where I could no longer create short routes (while the other player, also using the "Empire Method" still could). Best wishes!

Huh. Hope that's not becoming a thing. you over 10,000 frequencies? The game usually won't return a profit value in that case.

As a precaution We have decreed the death of all bugs in The Empire.

This happened 2 years ago when I had 10,000 planes and over 15 million pax going through my airline with my routes between 150-300 miles distance. All of a sudden, the game simply would not generate a short route below certain miles.

 

I was not the only one facing this bug.
