Quick question.  I'm going to assume that putting less than max seats in an airplane config will improve your legroom rating... is that correct?  Also, what can you do to improve on time performance?  Thanks

Yep! Less pax seats contributes to more legroom :)

Improving on-time performance is challenge and you can only do so much to the point it seems you cannot max out. One way to improve is to not completely fill your aircraft with hours. You can do that by setting a border where any aircraft under a certain amount of time will not be used (unless it's really needed). For example, I have a setting (you do this when you add flights and there's a small box that allows you to show aircraft with more than x amount of hours) for any aircraft that has less than 30 hours it cannot fly.

Another way is to use aircraft that have get reliability. Unfortunately the exact aircraft is really difficult so it's best to try out different aircraft that is suited for the route to see which has the best on time performance.

Finally increasing the pay for the cabin crew (most importantly) and having more reserves will help increase the on time availability rating
