Allo, in R5, I think I have encountered a bug relating to Dallas Love

 

 

Earlier on in the server, sometime in the mid 90s, I had bought a lot of gates at DAL and made it a hub, flying CRJ-200LR aircraft out of it to nearby states.

 

Recently now in 2009 I've replaced those super old CRJ aircraft with CRJ-705 and they aren't allowed to fly the same route for some reason. I initially thought it was the size of the airplane but I noticed that there are other airlines operating 757s out of DAL. For example, DAL-LAS has a 757 stuck on the route.

 

Furthermore, to test this bizarre thing, I bought a 757-200 and tried putting it on this route, but it didn't let me. I think this is a bug.

 

"Additional states were allowed in 1997 and 2005. The law was amended and partially repealed in 2006 and then fully repealed in 2014 because DFW was well established."

 

I literally can't fly to ANY state from DAL now for some reason. No, runway length isn't an issue, DAL has an 8,800 foot long runway.

DAL (Dallas Love Field) – Wright Amendment

Routes from DAL are limited to serving airports located in the states of Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. However, flights using aircraft with 56 or fewer seats (maximum certified capacity) are exempt from this restriction. You cannot configure aircraft that could potentially have more seats, such as a 737-800 with a maximum of 189 seats, with 56 seats in order to avoid this restriction.

This restriction does not apply on or after October 13, 2014 (game time).

Are you just trying to directly replace the aircraft? The CRJ-705 has a different, longer turnaround time than the CRJ-200LR. The 757 would have the same issue.

Then how are other airlines flying larger aircraft than the CRJ-200 out of DAL on this route?

Nope, it's not. Airlines in the game are flying out of DAL to literally every other airport in America and it's 2010, and they're also using large airplanes with 212 seats (see the 757 post above)
