Hello everyone,

I've played AE on and off for a few years and based on my interaction with the player base here, I suggest taking a look at this game. It has a long history and is well structured. The game is healthy but the player base is a bit smaller than it has been historically. With a few new players, I am sure it will thrive!

There are on going attempts to streamline it a bit. But for starters, you can make a bio and start in the house. The rest (elections, press etc) will come with time. For the bios, the goal is to prevent people with crazy backgrounds. As long as the bio is at least somewhat realistic, the points will take care of themselves.

Yeah. I'm hearing my character after myself and quite honestly, I'm having to fabricate only small amounts of educational bg and such. I havent graduated college, and I feel the representative i create, needs at least that. So far I really like it. I havent been able to explore the boards as much as I'd like (ex. Current legislation, campaigns, etc.) But like you said, that'll all come in time.

It seems fun
But how to start like how to start playing
I have done the masking the bio and the senate but after that I do not know how to continue

In all honesty, it makes the most sense (for me at least) to start here, even if it's only a draft. Elios is a longtime member with an excellent grasp on how USGovSim works, and this serves as a sort of penultimate rulebook that doubles as a fun read. The House itself is wildly complicated in real life, so I rather appreciate that as many of the processes and rules have been carried over.
