I know all about the Wright Amendment, but that impacts traffic out of DAL specifically. Here's one for you (and anyone else that's with me in this game can check it.) that I can't figure out.
While setting up a new route, I researched SAT - LGA and received the screen notice on the research screen that I couldn't fly that route due to political restrictions.
To coin a phrase --- "What th' ??"
Anyone have any ideas on this one?

The Port Authority of New York enacted a 1,500 mile radius restriction around LGA to force airlines to use JFK. Said restriction is still in place.
Yup, he is correct. This restriction is because of LGA, not DAL.
