Hi, I am trying to figure out the best site/tool/resource to create an Airline Livery and Logo to add to my company profile. Their are some really nice ones out there and I'd love for mine to look just as nice :) Can anyone help me please?

For liveries, your best tool is to use GIMP. There's a tutorial for it in the Logo/Livery Requests section of the forum.

As for logos, you could probably make it using Paint or something.

I use the canvas and shapes tools in Microsoft Word to create logos.

Thank you! I (sorta) figured some things out. Also realized the plane livery editor was super complicated, so I gave up. I made a logo and posted an avatar pic at least.

The nicest/easiest (IMO) way to make liveries is on Photoshop, and Logos on Illustrator. Of course, not everyone can afford Adobe softwares so using Gimp is your best bet if you're running in a budget.

I know that GIMP is quite a powerful free substitute for Photoshop, but tbh you don't need all its powers just to make logos and liveries.

If you want something that's not too complicated, I recommend using Paint.NET. It's free and has enough features to get the job well done.

Should you need some more tools, you can always download additional plugins for free.

I believe the newest version of Paint.NET with complete plugins is just as powerful as GIMP and not so far away from Photoshop.

Plus, Imo, it has user-friendly interface.

Use Inkscape to make vector images for your logos so the things you make are a little less s***ty.
