Similar to the real world, having a majority (or all!) of your fleet with a single manufacturer should provide a discount for further orders or leases, and the discount is instantly lost if you make a purchase with a competitor.

For e.g., you build an all-Airbus fleet for 20 years, and get a decent discount to buy more Airbuses on your fleet renewal. But then you buy Embraers once, and Airbus gets upset and reduces or removes your discount.

I wish. Unfortunately, updates to the current game won’t be happening for a while...

AE is the best.

It would make more sense if the manufacturer gets upset with you if you buy competitors planes. Meaning Airbus is ok with you adding Embraers or Bombardiers to your regional fleet, but opting for anything from Boeing will damage your relationship.

@kraspeed: Better spin on it. Or when manufacturers merge, the new owner offers the same discount as before (i.e. Boeing will honour any MD discounts you have after 1997).
