When I opened most of my routes, there was wide, empty demand. Recently, Jet Blue has been targeting my routes and furiously undercutting me on them, so far that it surprises me they are breaking even. I've had to cancel numerous routes and my slots are being wasted as a result. I plan to connect my hubs to a new long-distance airport soon. How can I keep Jet Blue from stealing my routes?

You have to compete on cost as well - go lower than JetBlue. Failing that, improve your frequency, legroom, and IFS so customers will choose you over JetBlue based on route reputation (I think it works that way).
If all else fails, build up a whole whack of connecting passengers (blue load factor, not green) by flying to and/or from hubs, and use that to stay profitable.

Don't be afraid. Push back. Compete. Some competitors are like dogs - they can smell your fear. Don't take it personally, just take the fight right back up to him.
Keep in mind he's probably not actually targeting your routes specifically. He's probably just deploying planes on all routes from a given starting point (eg, all destinations within say 1,000 miles of, say Atlanta or Chicago) regardless of who's already on them. No one owns routes.

I'm leasing airports with only one gate left so they can't fly there >
I never knew the blue was connecting flights, thanks for telling me!

I already enjoy a monopoly in the Philippine domestic market in R6, and when O&D load factors reach below 100% in most cases, I just keep lowering prices till the whole bars are green. My way to maintain dominance, especially since I already have the lion's share of flights at MNL, CEB, and CRKDon't be afraid. Push back. Compete. If competition isn't your thing choose your starting location carefully. The U.S. is absolutely littered with spamliners.

I just tried it for the first time. Never again. Haven't got the time of day to pay such constant attention.
