In Real life, Those planes are still in development, testing or still proposed.
You're partly right. But in the case of the Embraers and the MC21 there is flight tested data.
If you can find things like takeoff thrust specific fuel consumption on a particular aircraft, you can send that data to the Data Collectors for implementation.
