Essentially a world that you operate as a cold war era airline. Airlines that start within the iron curtain will only have to operate within there and vice versa for the west. Air routes coming from the west cannot be over Soviet airspace.

The consensus is that the Cold War ended in 1991. I think aside from Aeroflot exploding (which occurred shortly after the breakup of the USSR), the only other place where it'd be a problem is East Germany.
