Seen this article, and I'm sad to hear the beloved C-series is getting it's name changed, but I am happy to see that there will be more potential customers which means my favorite aircraft could become one of the big boys.

Yea I’m upset. I’m a Delta frequent and I was excited to fly on something other than a Axxx or Bxxx
yeah, i agree. i feel like a230 or a210 will cause some pains considering how easily misinterpreted the new names could be with the a320 and a310

Yea i'm upset that Airbus changed the name of the CS. but it might help with marketing because Airbus is a market power house and could influence more airlines to perches the "CS"

Now the A200 sounds like a military plane airbus made
It is unfortunate but the CEO of Bombardier said that after the takeover from Airbus, lots of airlines have shown a lot interest in the CSeries program, thanks to Airbus' reach to airlines as a planemaker. Hopefully their marketing will show off the plane's potential.

Too bad I like the C-Series name. What's next, the Boeing 6X6 family (Embraer E-Jets E2)?

Wall Street Journal reported in December that Boeing entered into talks to take over Embraer; last I read the Brazilian government needs to sign off on the agreement.
