So, we have train sims (my faves), airline sims (second favorite) and even a few business sims (not all that appealing to me), which makes me think what kind of Simulations would YOU like to see?

My take:

Cruise Liner Simulation- would be interesting to see this. Just like AE except with Cruise Liners going all the way back to the 1900's!

Transport Ships Sim- although there are games on the pc like this, I'd love to see an online version of this kind of sim

Capitalism online- well Capitalism the game but with LOTS more business options set in real cities

Military Hardware Sim- create, build and sell military vehicles! Create your own military industrial complex!

Train Empires- yes, since I love trains I would love to see an online sim much like AE but set to trains from 1830- today with real cities and real passenger and cargo consist numbers.

WHAT ELSE? What other sims would like to see in format similar to AE?

Idk about some online sim, AE is the finest and only worthy examples of online simulation games. But offline games sets you well. If you want online transport simulation games, you can play OpenTTD, they got multiplayer server.

Omnibus Simulator's DLC - Busbetriebsimulator would be interesting to see how it would play out with the MP element without you having to drive the vehicles yourself.

I tried quite a few times to get the motivation to do it but the spectre of detail needed to make it is too big for my semi-basic knowledge of programming languages to make it work as intended (see my old SATRA project).

Thanks for this but I was actually talking about Transport SHIPS, freighters...  but I will give TTD a look

If there were a version AE for trains... I'd be playing that instead. I haven't played anything decent since Railroad Tycoon 3 and that was like 15 years ago.

Try Ship Tycoon by Trade Game Lab for mobile. Hard to understand at first but it's still a great game.
