I’m relativley new to the game with only one or two successful airlines to my name. However, I’ve found that it gets boring pretty quickly, as it ends up being “order a ton of this one aircraft” and then “spend 45 minutes picking routes and setting prices” repeated over and over. Any suggestions on how to make it a bit more interesting?

(I’ve wanted to make more interesting and “fun” airlines, where I’m not just focused on money
, but instead on planes and routes (picking planes I like for example) but I’m worried that it’s not possible to do so without going bankrupt.)

I always start in a new country and switch up the plane types. I've only played with a US airline once, my first airline. Inevitably, when expansion starts to slow, I'll get bored and let the idle planes stack up, but then I'll get the urge a few days later to come back and keep it going. And there is always fleet renewal and updating to look forward to.

Try and bankrupt someone else for a challenge....

 

Join a world midway and go after the top airlines.... see if you can survive... 

 

Start 2 airlines at the same time and compete against yourself...

 

Help someone else with their airline....
