What advantages do hubs give me and what do I get from being in an alliance.

Hubs give you connecting passengers, these will only appear if you cover more demand than there really is. Ex: Let's say you have to add 5 flights to cover the daily demand and you do 7, those 2 flights will be around 30% passengers and 70% connecting passengers from your hub. Connecting passengers only make you half the money that a normal passenger would make so connecting passengers I sometimes define as "Seat Fillers" . Regarding the second question someone else can help you out since I have no idea.

Alliances allow you to access the connecting pax from the hubs of other members.

Forum alliances add to this role by continuing to exist between game worlds, but are more difficult to access, making them premier snd exclusive. They also provide a tight-knit community of members.
