I have a fleet of 3 A320's which in the terms of the lease should be 850,000 Aprox. for the aircraft to operate with the airline.

 

If you multiply 850,000 X 3 you would get 2.5 million and I then came to see the lease costs in the income statement and this shows up...    Attached File  Zona51.PNG   15.89KB   0 downloads

yes, but as you said. For the current aircraft you have you already pay 850,000 aprox right? the rest come from aircraft that you ordered and leased and that are to be delivered.

Oh, so you get pay leases while the aircraft is being made + other orders? (If you lease it from the manufacturer)

No. You pay 6 months of lease payments before delivery, then don't pay anything during your first 6 months of use of the aircraft. This is explained on the lease confirmation page.
