Thats it???? Thats your only point??????

And they don't offer any IFE on short-haul routes, unlike jetBlue.

A whopping 6 minutes after I promise to be neutral, I get faced with some B.S. New record, eh?

European airlines are fundamentally different than airlines in North America, in which nearly everything is low cost. IFE isn’t common even on legacy carriers, and you MIGHT get a free snack depending on your airline of choice. Even my previous flag carrier, Air Malta, had no IFE and only gave out a baguette and water regardless of flight. That’s why LCCs are so popular in Europe; there isn’t enough of a difference between them and legacy carriers in terms of shorthaul to justify paying the extra money for legacy.

Why would they?

If Aer Lingus wants to copy Ryanair by squeezing the least affording passengers out of their money they could as might as well kiss goodbye to decent service. Once again, they've never been an airline of my choice for European travel.

So I'm going to chalk you up to be uninformed, you haven't given me one decent point.

Why would they?

Also B6 is a LCC, so are you saying you like them?

I can't say I like them, but for some reason the word "budget" somewhat throws me off when I look for premium, even on jetBlue's Mint class. When it comes to running AE airlines I always prefer legacy because it just feels better for me. I don't get the same feeling if I were to run an LCC.
