Hi everyone,

I decided to take up a challenge and start an airline La Compagniefor those who hear about it for the first time it operates B757-2s between Paris and Newark with only Business Class seats (74 of them btw).

I was wondering what would it take to run this type of airline in AE especially with spammers and unrealistic competition that makes the game what it is. If you have any tips then let me know.

Spoiler there will be no Scam IFS and IFE

You should keep frequencies low in order to fill your seats and obviously realistic utilization times. Low seat offer will allow you to raise the ticket price a bit without that compromising your seat occupancy and will keep you safe from competition unless you're fighting with a scumline. As I like running realistic airlines, and I specially love running airlines in the 50's and 60's. I fly long range routes configured only in C and/or F class to emulate that era's service, prices and frequencies, but I have never done it with jet aircraft. Anyway, my best wishes

There is a certain balance point, especially with higher demand routes, where if you have few enough seats, no matter the price you set (within reason, of course), you will have 100% of your seats filled. I have not tried setting the price to higher than default, but I have found this works without fail. You should try that if competition becomes too heavy, although it will be hard to accomplish a successful business-only airline. It's kind of the reason La Compagnie only has 1 route and I think 2 757-200s.
