Over the past week, I have encountered several problems with malvertising, whilst browsing the site.

The first 2 were attempts to download executable files, whilst I was reading the forums. Thankfully, I was on a company iPad at the time.

Today, I was redirected to: "http://x0z01i05004.i...=MDgwMCAwOTgg",whilst viewing "http://www.airline-empires.com/index.php?/gallery/image/18198-qm-ad-2017". I unfortunately have to inform the community that this is a site containing a Microsoft Windows Tech Support Scam, where I was asked to call 0800 098 8706 (UK Freephone Number), in order to prevent various attacks and errors on my computer. The website then spammed requests for more browser windows, when I clicked cancel on the Microsoft Edge OK/Cancel prompt, which had the exact same text as the website. The following image speaks for itself. The only programs open at the time were GIMP, Edge, and Task Manager. The rest is the spam UIs which disappeared but are still running.

Perhaps someone from AE should look into their advertising partners?

1) why were you on a company iPad
2) yes they need to fix it.
3) do a virus scan duh

1.) They issue them to everyone. We keep them.
2.) My point.
3.) I don’t have a virus, it’s a scam. The virus downloads redirected to a new website first which said something about winning a reward.

If you're getting these while browsing the forums and gallery, that would be odd because we have no ads on the forums.

I dunno, I think it was MS Edge spamming to open new windows.
