In the past month or so I've done all of the following

 

1) Voted

2) Paid rent with my own money on my apartment I rent

3) Bought several six packs of beer and some whiskey at the store with my own ID and money

4) Purchased a pack of cigarettes with my own ID and my own money

5) Drove my car which I purchased and pay for with my own money

6) Went to my full time job

7) Spent zero time at school and consequently did zero homework a teacher assigned to me

8) Am over the age of 18

 

If you can't say the same for basically any of these you are a child.

 

Debate over. Carry on.

Excuse me but I voted for my student council representatives who are going to get rid of homework forever therefore I am an adults thanks.

In the past two months I have:

 

1) Paid for my own rent (well my ex's)

2) Dealt with a utility shut off (water, cellphone and electric)

3) Had my car repossessed

4) Paid off a payday loan

5) Drank beer that i bought

6) Pounded some Latina p**** with condoms I can buy as an adult without dirty looks.=

7) Sexted someone legally

8) Paid of a Toll authority so I can keep my license

9) Started divorce and bankruptcy paperwork

10) Collected unemployment.

11) Re-registered to vote in the March election

12) Vaped

13) Turned down some weed

13) had a missing persons report filed on me by my soon to be ex-wife

14) Fled the South in the middle of the night past curfew. 

15) Drove without a curfew

16) Used a sex toy on a partner that I bought

17) Bought spray paint and cough syrup

18) Didn't get IDed at the bar

 

These are all things that can't happen to you when you are under 18!
