If I want to roleplay as an airline, do I just place an order? (Also, Med, you seem to have mentioned the I820 a bit in your more recent posts (January 18, 2020), but it still says that it is under development on the first page. What is going on?)
I don't mean to burst your bubble or anything, but this thread is pretty much dead, since all the major people taking part have since left the site...

Huh, that's strange, how come when I check the profiles of the aircraft manufactures, it says that they are still active on this site?
Well there's only one way to find out.
IC: China Western Airlines would like to place options for 5 I820 aircraft. They will be converted to orders soon.
OOC: Where is the link for I820 aircraft anyways?

The thread is not really dead, we're in a discord server.
However the RP is at a very slow pace, most people have very little time, including me.
So that's the reason it appears dead.

Atomus and LEMICA aerospace have decided to cancel the XF-70 program due to the lack of sales.
This decision does not come as a surprise as the program never had any interest from airlines in the first place.
CEO of LEMICA states:"With pain in my heart I have to say goodbye to a legendary product which has it's roots in the 1960's starting with the F28, this is truly the end of an era."
The joined venture between Atomus and LEMICA because of this comes to an end as well.
The production facilities LEMICA had set up for this program will be put to use for other projects such as the S100 program.
The employees of LEMICA wish Atomus all the best for the future!

Royal European Airways, the Flag Carrier of the Benelux union, has shown interest in AMS-100, AMS-300, LM-900, LM-800, and AS-100, but it is wondering how they compare to the A350 family, and the A320-NEO family, which it currently operates.

All numbers are theories and can be changed depending on certification tests.
The AMS-100 would be similar in size to the A321, with modern aerodynamic qualities, and advanced materials.
Compared to the A321 neo, the AMS-100 can be up to 15 percent more efficient, however this is on paper and has not been tested yet as the AMS-300 will fly first.
Also it in theory can save up to 12 percent on operating costs.
AMS-300 is similar in size to the 757-300, with long haul in mind.
The AMS-300 received completely redesigned wings to make long haul flights as efficient as possible.
On paper the AMS-300 should be up to 20 percent more efficient than the 757-300 and 15 percent cheaper in operating costs.
The AMS-100/300 both make high use of Carbon composites, contra rotating fan engines, and the latest avionics.
The LM-800 is still being developed with numbers still to be tested.
The LM-900 is a direct competitor to the 777 and A350, here are the specs:
The LM-900 is already available.
Specs:
Crew: 2 pilots
Maximum Pax: 570
Length: 74 Meter
Wingspan: 235 ft 5 in (73.8 m)
Height: 23 ft 2 in (7.10 m)
Wing area: 4,803 ft²
Aspect ratio: 9.04
Max. takeoff weight: 777,000 lb
Maximum landing weight: 557,000 lb
Wing sweep: 33 degrees
Powerplant: 2 × Ivencs NT-10X (new engine in development as a second option)
Maximum speed: Mach 0.91 (525 kn, 604 mph, 972 km/h) for fast cruise
Cruise speed: Mach 0.85 (488 kn, 562 mph, 904 km/h) for long range cruise; Mach 0.90 (516 kn, 595 mph, 956 km/h) for normal cruise
Range: 7,400 nautical miles (8,515 mi, 13,704 km) for long range cruise
Service ceiling: 43,000 ft

OOC: This is my best attempt at trying to recreate REA's livery on the LM-900. Here is what I was trying to go for on the A350. ( The A350 was created by Med. Not being able to paint the engines REA's iconic tulip red was driving me mad.)
IC: Royal European Airways is quite satisfied with the specifications of the LM-900 and would like to place an order for 10 LM-900 with options for 5 more in a four class configuration. (If that is possible.) REA plans on using this plane on their busiest routes from Amsterdam and Brussels.
Also, REA wants to be the launch customer of the AMS-100 and the AMS-300, with options for five of each type. (Benelux pride!) It plans on using these planes within the European Union.

Order for the LM-900 is confirmed
The AMS had no launch customer yet, so confirmed. (I will work on finishing the template asap)
