Is this commercial only? I have some designs for aircraft for a Sci-Fi(ish, it's set in 1999) project I'm working on that would fit in perfectly. I have commercial aircrafts as well as military, can I toss the military jets in too?

Yes please! Throw in some diverse aircraft (even spacecraft) concept designs. Frankenplanes are cool, I do those too, but fresh ideas are awesome!
Gosh I miss this. Most of my time is eaten up supporting my family, then COVID-19 happened on top of that. I have so much unfinished stuff.

Inyanga Aviation is a new South African aircraft maintenance and leasing company. However, they are aiming to start development of a new jet engine to power medium-haul aircraft such as the Boeing 737. The new engine, codenamed "Moonlight I", is being funded and developed, and should be ready for testing in a short while.
Moonlight I will power Inyanga Aviation's newly announced Inyanga IC-1. The small jet is built to perform short hops between cities. While the aircraft has only been announced, Inyanga says that they plan to release the aircraft design in a few days.

The LEMICA company started the production of an experimental jet for research of high speed subsonic flight.
There is a small chance the Jet will be put into production if it performs well.

The Inyanga IC-1 has been publicly announced, and the design fully shown. It was revealed that the IC-1 will come in two variants:
- the short-range IC-1-100, which can carry 42 passengers in an all-economy layout and can fly for 2,937mi (4,277km)
- the long-range IC-1-200, which is two rows longer, can carry 50 passengers in an all-economy layout and can fly for 3,241mi (5,216km)
Both aircraft have 2-abreast seating, and can fit Business Class seats. It is known that there will be other engine options, but currently, the Moonlight I engine is the only engine known. Other specs will be released over time.
OOC: this is my first plane, please don't destroy me for frankensteining

Now arriving: The Bastion-Felix BT-505.
Coming to the skies in Q4, the project has been teased at by Bastion-Felix group, but it is only just been formally announced, as test plane alpha rolls out the hangar doors. Bastion-Felix is known for cars and trains, and it's new avionics branch seems to have produced a result. A max 18 isle aircraft, for 108 seats @ max, with 102-96 average, in a 3-3 arrangement. The engine type is still unknown, but it appears to be in-house. Having a 6,782 Km. range, the 505 can fly further than the A220, at the price of being a bit smaller. Most tests have yet to be done, but progress has been made.

Finally, a worthy opponent! Our battle shall be legendary!
Is he really though? His plane carries more passengers, has a longer range, and is generally a larger plane...

I have lost the battle
There was no battle in the first place.
Both aircraft would perform different roles.
Compete, maybe... but not full on.
