Miller's asked me to make a list of typos on this site. It would be more efficient if we all just compiled one list here with your help.
Just reply with the following information:
1. The URL of the page with the typo, or the name of the page (optional if on all or many pages)
2. The typoed text
3. Proper spelling
I'm starting mine:
1. When buying aircraft, it says Sell Aircraft in the title bar. should be Buy Aircraft
2. Adminimstration - all pages - should be "Administration"
I know this has been done before but the location of the typos wasn't included. Thanks.

1. On logout it says "logout successfull" -> "logout successful"
Airports:
Aukland, New Zealand -> Auckland, New Zealand
Albequerque -> Albuquerque
Frankfort -> Frankfurt
Paris De Gaul -> Paris Charles De Gaulle
Tokyo Nayarit -> Tokyo Narita
Tokyo Haneida -> Tokyo Haneda
Johannesurg -> Johannesburg
Hartfield Springfield -> Hartford Springfield
Bombay -> Mumbai
Calcutta -> Kolkatta
Dehli -> Delhi
Tijuana General Ablardo L Rodrigues International -> ... Abelardo ...
Ottowa -> Ottawa
Gotheborg -> Goteborg (really about preference here)
Palma -> Palma de Mallorca
HongKong -> Hong Kong
Xaimen -> Xiamen
i think thats about it for the airports. the rest of the airports i think are only accent and translation issues
Other little errors:
Sacramento is SMF, not SAC
Seoul isn't SEL anymore. Its GMP if its Kimpo; ICN if Incheon

Some examples:
Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, CA -> Burbank
Edmonton Namao, Alberta Canada -> Edmonton
Fort Meyers Southwest Florida International -> Fort Meyers
Tijuana General Ablardo L Rodrigues International -> Tijuana
There are many others. They tend to clutter the map. Unless there are multiple airports in one city (New York, Chicago, Buenos Aires), the extra is redundant. And even if there are 2 airports in the same city, a short description should suffice (i.e. Chicago Midway, Chicago O'hare).

For "Hartford Springfield" (currently Hartfield Spingfield)
It should be Hartford/Springfield. As they are too completely different cities.

I am assuming something misplaced is a typo.
Abu Dhabi should be in Middle East, not Africa
Bahrain should be in Middle East, not Europe
Any city with multiple airports should have the airport name inlcuded...example, it should be Milan Malpensa and Milan Linate, and Moscow Sheremetyevo and Moscow Vnukovo, Osaka Itami and Osaka Kansai, Berlin Tegel and Berlin Schoenfeld. When a name is not available, then the IATA code should be used, so you would have Birmingham BHX and Birmingham BHM.
Fort should always be spelled uniformly. There is no reason for RSW to be listed as Fort Myers and FLL to be listed as Ft. Lauderdale, when FLL should come first in alphabetical order. Making them uniform solves this issue. Similar but not as strong an argument for the inconsistent use of Saint and St.
Spelling errors ...
Fort Meyers -> Ft. Myers
Chicago O'hare ->Chicago O'Hare

Unless it is under Europe, in which case it is spelled wrong...

Funny, a three page report and you didnt notice the Indian goverment (or city goverment - dunno anymore) changed the name from Bombay to Mumbay just a few years ago. Its Mumbay and nothing else. (Just like Leningrad is now St. Petersburg for quite some time)
p.s. I didnt checked this so if Im wrong anyway, you are allowed to laugh

It's like the Ivory Coast/Cote d'avoir thing. Goverment wants it Cote d'avoir, west always calls it Ivory Coast.

I think one difference is that in India English is an official language. Thus, Mumbai is the official name in English and is preferred when speaking English. In C?te d'Ivoire(sp?) English is not an official language, as far as I know. The official name is in French, but since there is no official English name(or is there?) we can call it whatever we want in English.
