Hello everyone, so me and my friend started playing the game 3-4 days ago (already lost the track of dates because of the game XD). He started in Istanbul and I started in Moscow Sheremetyevo. Now I'm slowly starting to experience a slowdown in growth I guess...? Would anyone have some tips or tricks to maximize the profitability of the airline. Any type of trick would be ok except the "hub everywhere" strategy like the top airline in our world uses (we just don't count him as our competitor).

My airline is "Amego Airlines" in

(Rα)

P.S. you might see some other airlines under my name, they are just created for fodder and creation of hubs in other countries so that I will at least have some demand with which I can work through in Amego Airlines...

You could put me into your airline with the shared control number. I can help if you want. PM me if you're interested.

Hey there,I don't really feel comfortable handing the keys to my best and biggest airline... How can I be sure that you don't bankrupt it?

Because only a select amount of AE members do such things, and zortan is not one of them; I can assure you.

To answer your original question:

1. Constantly check your routes. New airlines spring up and compete with them and suddenly you're not making money anymore.

2. Maximize the efficiency of your airline. Real Life utilization varies between 11-13 hours a day, but if you really want to continue your growth you can easily push that number up to as close to 20 as possible.

3. Large fleet - Small variation of aircraft. For each new kind of aircraft that you use, you get even more costs. If you use the 737, A320 etc in one airline (especially at the beginning) you face high maintenance costs for each kind of aircraft.

4. Modern fleet - As aircraft get old, they become more expensive to maintain, thus reducing your profits.

5. Try to buy all your fleet and subsequent orders. Leasing is good at the beginning, but once you have stable routes/DOP/profits etc, buy up your fleet from the "lessors" - making an aircraft yours the majority of time means more profit.

I hope this helps. PM me if you need anything else.

I usually start with leasing used aircrafts that are < 5 years old. Once you start making money lease aircrafts.

Click aircraft > Add flights > input the parameters and start flights where the gate fees are < $100,000 to start gradually move up
