I started up a small regional airline running Twin Otters in 2C 16Y config.

At the moment I have 9 of them. I have inflight service.

In human resources it shows I have 187 Cabin Crew employees but the need is 0 !?

Why is it 0?

Can I safely downsize all 187 since it says I don't need them without incurring a big negative impact??

Has anyone else run into this?

I don't know why it's 0. Probably some sort of glitch in the code.

Either that or the flight is so short that they don't need cabin crew.

I'm pretty sure you can downsize it without much problem.

Unfortunately I have not run into this yet.

It's a DHC-6, no cabin crew is NEEDED. May be useful for rep. tho.

I figured it could have something to do with the size of the aircraft... which begs the question... at what size does an aircraft require a cabin crew?

depends on the aircraft, not the size...

Yes, it would depend on the plane. For example, the EMB120 has 1 FA, and so does the Beech 1900D at times, depending on config. It really depends on the plane.
