I'm on the univeristy computer now and having problem to disable First Class too.

i made this simple way.. i dont know if you could implement.

First class: (formula / ACFTtotalPAX) <--- (optional)

C class (formula / ACFTtotalPAX) <--- (optional)
Y class (available seats with the resulting space)

Then if they entered a input/data automatically set the option, if the value is 0 or NaN means option deactivated.

I'm confused. Why would you want less than 100% of the maximum seats?

This is a good tool. I believe the formula is to maximize profit from passengers in the game.

Not realistic, obviously, but you have said clearly that it's for AE players, and I'm sure this will be very helpful for them.

I even bookmarked it.

Good job, amigo

Why is not realistic?... i am sure you was read some old timetables of big airlines.  Seat configs obviously adjust to the airline policies. there are 747s with only 1 economical class. and other airlines with exaggerated spacious first class.  and full first class inclusive.

Then all configs are valid.

The game not simulate the combi configs yet. Even i did watch in a 727-100 with combi configuration.

Profitable or unprofitable that's depends of the airline management.. :russian:

Nice Tool! If it's a success I would not mind suggesting it to be used on AE. But they must give you credits for that :)

It’s good but I take offence that, once again, the Americans are being credited for the ENGLISH language. You wouldn’t use an Argentine flag for Spanish, or an Austrian flag for German...

Hey ping, I'm sorry about that, but the intention of the flags are to be clarefull for all user, for example, I use the Brazil (my country flag) to portuguease language because brazil have a bigger population of Portugal, and I used same scheme to English language.
It's not a question of who create the language, It's only a reference to countries that use the linguages.

Sorry about my bad english.

America have 36 countries,, here we speak a quantity of languages. I could have your attitude and say. UNITED STATES is a country, AMERICA is a whole continents.
The USA flag only means english with USA peculiarities.   A lot of sites use that.

there is no problem.

The sliders don't say the amount of Max. Seats and percent of space to use. If you can, please fix, thanks.

No offense to the work you did, as seen it already helps some people, but I'd like to throw in a small rule everyone can use easily.

Basically I just divide max seats by 7( so I know the number of seats one flight will add). To take into account Business and First Class I calculate 1 business class seat on 10 Economy Class Seats and 1 First Class Seat every 7 Business Class Seats. Then you have to experiment a little bit with the aircraft how many seats you can fit with this rule.

It is just a personal rule to find somewhat appropriate configurations for my aircraft. And you can change it to your needs (leave away first class etc)

If you want to make it easy, 1/2/50. For every 50 total capacity, 1F and 2C. All the rest are Y.

That actually gives you 1/2/43 if you have exactly 50 (or 100, or 150, etc.) seats, but the remainder should all be Y too (unless it's almost 50), so on average you're running more like 1/2/65.

Out of curiosity, what happened to the site? I used it a lot for my airlines as it offered excellent and accurate seating I could then use in my planes. A shame to see it gone. If possible, I'd love to have the code to be able to restart it myself.

Thanks!
