Being the first to comment on a YouTube video is a good thing. You can make jokes before other ppl do and get all the attention and get a lot of responses
I am edible. If you eat me though, you are a cannibal

I don't know about you, but I get a certain satisfaction seeing my name as a launch customer lol. But otherwise, there are no benefits to it unfortunately.

There should be benefits, but there are none.

I really don't like being a launch customer in fact I'm only a launch customer of a few regional airliners I can't get them on the widebodies as some of those people who has lightning speed abilities are able to order them lol
But yeah its kind of fun to own the oldest plane of the type. When possible I try to get the oldest plane on the "used market"

Unfortunately, that plane will have the highest maintenance cost.

Like there's always the option of being the only airline to operate something like a Trislander if you are into that

Well the plane will still earn money even if its too small.
As long as I don't go into the negatives with it then it will stay.

I remember last round in Ra i was the launch customer for the A330-200 (i always do my best to be launch customer for that aircraft) and i operated 40 of it. I was the only operator for all of the world.

Doesn't really mean anything, except your airline's name would be up for all the players to see.

Nothing could be gained from being launch customer. However, it does feel great to see your airline listed as the launch customer, and it also gives a great feeling of victory since you beat everyone to it (a really hard thing to do especially for Airbus and Boeing aircraft). It is also there to give the game a little extra realism.

Realistically, the launch customer is the first airline to Purchase the aircraft type not lease it.
