I'm trying to keep my realism as much as possible which means I'm not a spam liner.

Is it okay to utilize my long-haul airliners up to 16-17 hours of average daily utilization?

It's possible to profit with utilization from 10-12 hours for widebody jets.

It is possible but you would need more planes to fill up that route.. So I'll be sticking with the 14-15 hour daily utilization based on the data posted above :) And I have got a lot of routes with no competition. And widebodies don't arrive until 4 weeks after the first one arrives.

Literally one piece of data in that entire data set says Delta had 15 hour utilization in 2006. That set is shaded grey and is labeled as "questionable".

Did nobody ever teach you how to read and interpret data?

if you really want to base your airline off of the absolute maximum, then US Airways had 16.80 hours util in 2001.

It is possible, but many airlines do up to 15 or so
