Is it ever gonna come out?
We have been waiting over 5 years for it at least. I have given up hope of it ever coming, and most veteran members have given up or maybe left the community entirely. Inside joke or not, it's unlikely to come out before most players of the younger players on here get into their mid 20s. The developer has a serious staff shortage, and is unable to fund development of AE4. Basically, enjoy AE3 because it likely will be the last version of this incredible but unfinished game.

I was just reading one of Yuxi's first posts about AE4, talking about a new passenger system........ dated JANUARY 5, 2012 here we are nearly 6 years later... I think the original timeline for AE4 was to be released in December 2012. I come back now and again to see if there is even anyone talking about it.
