stop self promoting

He's not self promoting as he isn't even the game developer. But face it, ALEN is objectively better. It is in active player influenced development, there is a very high degree of transparency in what development is occuring, and the general community attitude is far far better on the forums. A way of saying it hasn't been overrun by immature (not necessarily young) people with nothing better to do than troll on some forums

BTW, I was the one who thought of ALEN. And yes people are nicer there (including me) and don't hate ME as much.

it is a more realistic

In real world 10% airlines offer Premium Economy, in AE 0% and in AlEn 90%.

0% is closer to 10% than 90%, so AE is more realistic than AlEn.

He meant in terms of the flight schedules. But AlEn doesn't have, say, IFS and IFE :(

I was just reading one of Yuxi's first posts about AE4, talking about a new passenger system........ dated JANUARY 5, 2012 here we are nearly 6 years later... I think the original timeline for AE4 was to be released in December 2012. I come back now and again to see if there is even anyone talking about it.

Omg you're back,

that is a planned feature. And when added, it is expected to be significantly better than what AE has currently. And feature requests actually get considered by the developer (yes, ONE DEVELOPER)

He's the old dev for CyberAirlines, and for some reason he still thinks that routes being flown in real time is a good idea.

Agreed.

You can auto schedule routes now. But still tedious.

I love it. Slows the game down and allows one to actually think as they do their operations. It is brilliant. Especially compared to the manic pace of some AE gameworlds which often go through years within a week.
