Keep the current system, but include options like letting you see the rankings of airlines within regions, such as EU, North/Central/South America, Africa and Asia.

Won't change much for airlines based in the US, but for European and African airlines it can help, especially EU airlines that can compete with others because of the Open Skies Agreement. No actual benefit of this, but makes the competition side with other European Airlines more interesting.

Opinions?

LATAM.

Yes - good idea. US spamlines are always taking over the entire scoreboards and it's pretty much impossible for anyone else to compete on rankings. I also think that rankings should be rankle by reputation in terms of a number rank instead of just the sorter tool.

Regional rankings will still be dominated by biggest country in the region.

The proper way to raise viability of small countries is a more robust competition model where you can't get away from competitors with blue pax. Competition should make US airlines survivable but hard to excel.

If you're sick of wimpy spamliners who only know how to "win" from a big country, make it a challenge for yourself to win from a small country. It is still possible if you know what you're doing.
