Can someone tell me a step by step process of how I create a new route? I tried so many times. This game is hard to play.

You just need to get into it. But since you are an old member you should know how it works. Anyway, stuff may have changed.

Firstly go to the Open New Route tab. Type the departure and arrival airport and hit research route. Then you will be moved to a page showing all the details about those two routes. In order to get running on that route you need to lease at least one gate in both departure and arrival airports. After you've done that click add flights and then show aircraft. Finally, add the number of flights on one of your planes that have free time. Keep in mind 7 flights is one flight per day, 14 flights two per day etc.

Under the Gates tab, click on "Browse Airports".

You may then fill in how many miles of whatever departure airport you choose. On top of this you can fill in the minimum runway length of your destination(s).

When you click "List Airports", you will get a list of every airport which fit the conditions you specified.

Go into the Open New Route tab and then type in your flight's origin and destination. Or, go into the Browse Airports tab, type in the range, country, etc., and click on the airport you want to fly to.

The top two answers will work - however, I'd just start at the beginning of a world, then, you can get all the big routes. Right now, that would be R4 and R7 as great places to start. You can pretty much operate any route (with range and runway requirements, of course) in a starting-out world. I would recommend it. I just started in R4, and I got to do LGW-DME, and others.

I've tried adding routes, and it seems to lock me in a loop, it doesn't acknowledge the added flights and ignores the fact I've selected flights to add!

I have slots at both airports, and plenty of available a/c

It seems to be locking in a loop and won't allow me any more routes?

Is there a max number of routes?

no max number, I've had over 2000 before. So IDK, can you send me a screenshot of the route adding page so I can see?

It allows me to add the route, but i don't get the screen that says the selected aircraft was added to the route.

Any ideas?

IDK. Maybe try restarting your browser and computer. If that doesn't work, switch browsers maybe. After that, IDEK anymore. Good luck!

Sadly its still the same, I've tried Opera, firefox, IE and edge in addition to chrome and the issue persists.

Seems there's nothing I'm able to do.  :(
