Cityhop alliance is a brand new alliance for a type of airline not currently served by forum alliances. Forum alliances generally focus on realistic airlines or premium carriers.

Cityhop is an alliance for regional airlines. Any regional airline may represent the alliance in game, so long as it is realistic. There will be 2 factions:

Cityhop True is all about roleplaying real-life regional airlines, using their real fleet, routes and seat configurations.

Cityhop You is all about creating your own regional airline, which you develop and expand through multiple game rounds, realism rules still apply.

Post below if interested. We are looking for alliance branding if anyone would be interested in making it.

Thank you.

I'd like to join - Regional airlines are my weak spot - would be cool to improve on that.

We're a new alliance, so we don't have a forum yet. If we get the interest of 5 or more members, we can open officially

I'm going to create a You airline - I think I'll call it Americana Connect. What World are we going to play in?

I'm also interested in joining this alliance. Is there anything we will have to do?

Possible Worlds: S3 of some sort. (1975/85/95-2005/15/25)
R6. (2000-2030)
O1. (1990-2020)
R-Alpha/Delta, allowing unlimited small airlines. (1975/90-2015/20)

What do you think?

I vote no on the Alpha/Delta. Too many spammers generally. S3 - maybe - but we'd really have to be on top of joining, and since they fill up so fast, it won't work for new players. In terms of R6 - I guess we could do that - but those in Universal and this could only run one airline from each, soooooo..... Are there other options?

The problem is that running a single small, regional airline, will not be very interesting. Possibly, R-Alpha and Delta, because the spamliners tend to focus on big name routes, and won't care about me flying Jersey to Cardiff, or similar. We could operate in multiple R worlds (R4 and R5 are identical), I suppose, I'm planning on more than 1 world at a time, at least 1 for each section (True and You).

Which alliance section are people most interested in? True or You? I'll start the winner first.

I think You is more interesting just because... but I think that your idea is pretty good, still though, there are some spammers who get bored and fly the dumbest routes... I was one of them :)
