New 707s are losing money even though they're on profitable routes.

I'm in a world which is in the 60's (R1) and I just got my shipment of two 707-120's, but all the routes in range are, for some reason, losing tens of thousands of dollars instead of making any money, and it's spiralling my airline into a downfall!

The only weird thing I noticed was that the weight was restricted for whatever reason.

The 707-120s are restricted as follows:

The ideal range of the aircraft is up to 4,056 mi, while any route above that up to 5,408 mi will suffer weight restrictions.

This is merely to reflect the real world where airlines tend to either choice the right aircraft for each mission or depending on the aircraft and/or route, take payload penalties (such as blocking row of seats) to ensure that they can fly the route.

You are flying way too far. Fly shorter routes. There is no way those 707s will make money flying so far

How do you actually know which routes I'm flying(which I'm flying none right now, since they lose so much money.)?

Your airline is on your member profile and through that, we can see the route map for your airline.

Ah, never knew you could see the route map through that..

I implemented two routes which are long but not too long, and they're making a really good amount of money. Thanks for the help.

Make sure your planes are flying enough that they cover maintenance as well, but not too much that on time performance falls (if that matters to you)
