I just started this. Followed a tutorial to get up and running with one plane and one route. Dont know if this is wrong but it is costing me butt loads of money, i have 6 gates at my home airport. How can i lower this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can return unused gates at any time by clicking on the "Return Gates" tab. Try and use most of the slots per gate and return the unused ones to be most cost-effective.

This and keep in mind. Airports with more annual pax tend to have higher gate cost. Although for some reason, gates at ATL are cheaper than those at DFW, PEK, DXB etc.
