Route: BWI - LGW - BWI

Ticket Sales: $422,400 IFS Revenue: - Flight Crew: $2,770 Fuel Cost: $141,172 Landing Fees: $4,724 Cabin Crew: $4,168 IFS Cost: $32,508 Other Fees: $30,358 $206,528

Route: LGW - BWI - LGW
Flight 0 / 1
Aircraft: 8671 (747-100) 530/530 Y 100%

Ticket Sales: $289,256 IFS Revenue: - Flight Crew: $2,582 Fuel Cost: $233,060 Landing Fees: $7,530 Cabin Crew: $6,108 IFS Cost: $20,784 Other Fees: $36,838 $-17,808

Despite the same route, my 747 is making much less money in ticket sales compared to my A300B4 which has much less seats. The seats are 100% utilised in both aircraft.

What's the explanation for this? Surely if the tickets cost the same for both aircraft my 747 should be making much more $$$ ticket sale wise?

I switched to A300A4's and now it's doing this? I'm very confused? Why is my A300B4 making much less ticket sales in certain flights?

I'm guessing this is a bug or it hasn't updated yet?

Well, just looking at the numbers, seems that the A300B4 was swapped in for the 747-400 and perhaps assumed some of the costs associated with the 747 instead.

Also, I would gather perhaps that the 747-400 has perhaps too many seats compared to the demand of the route (you could also have competition on the routes, not shown here) which would lower the overall seat price and thus affect your revenue.

Obviously a pain in the arse and not sure that most would do what i would do, but if i wanted to change the aircraft, i would close the route then reopen it with the aircraft i wanted, so here for example, if it was the 747, close the route, and reopen with the A300B4.

Are both planes operating with full green passengers?

It looks like the A300 is running full green and the 747 is about 70% blue (green is main, blue is connecting, who pay half the fare)
