Let me actually try to help you for once.
1. Terminals lower gate costs, and everyone knows that. Asking that is like questioning if kale is good for you.
2. You can surpass the 10 gate limit that you get when leasing gates.

Plus, if an airport is out of gates, terminals skip that as well
