I don't think anyone has a problem with waiting. This would definitely be unnecessary.

Waiting for a game to start surely gives everyone time to relax and just think what they wish to do with their airline.
I have seen other games on website with auto reset feature and even then, it still caused problems every few rounds when restarting the game.
